What we provide
Build Bench operates a small set of tools (listed at buildbench.ca). Each tool has its own scope, pricing, and refund policy noted on the tool's page. By using a tool, you agree to its specific terms in addition to these.
AI assistance disclosure
Every tool is AI-assisted (Claude). We disclose this clearly on each tool's page and in every customer-facing communication. Where a tool involves human review (Game Localization Studio tier, all concierge-mode submissions), the human review step is genuinely performed before delivery.
Acceptable use
You may not use any Build Bench tool to:
- Help with academic dishonesty (graded coursework, exams, take-home assessments).
- Generate or distribute hate speech, illegal content, real-world violence content, or content that violates Anthropic's usage policies.
- Translate, humanize, or otherwise process content from licensed IP (Disney, Marvel, Pokemon, etc.) without proof of license.
- Bulk-process content in ways that violate the source platform's terms (e.g. scraping content via our tools).
We refund + decline orders that violate the above.
Refunds
Each tool has its own refund policy on the tool's page. As a baseline: 100% refund within 24 hours of delivery for quality issues. Beyond 24 hours, refunds are case-by-case.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but make no SLA guarantee. If a Cloudflare / Supabase / Resend outage prevents delivery, we extend turnaround windows accordingly and notify customers by email.
OMSD-specific terms
Ontario Motivated Seller Digest is a B2B service for Ontario real-estate professionals. By signing up, you agree:
- To not contact homeowners listed in any signal we send. We do not provide homeowner contact data; we provide property + filing signals only.
- To act on signals in compliance with CASL, provincial real-estate regulations, and FINTRAC obligations.
- That signals are derived from publicly-accessible Ontario court / municipal sources and do not constitute investment, legal, or real-estate advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build Bench is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of any tool. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes resolved in Ontario courts.
